At Deepwater Counselling, therapy is not about forcing you to smile and take your medicine. It is about unpicking problems that are dragging you down. It is about figuring out what you actually value. Therapy should be life-affirming and, at times, genuinely exciting.


Hi, I'm William
I am a Registered Counsellor (Member, Australian Counselling Association). I provide counselling in Penrith in Western Sydney and online across Australia.
How I work
Person Centred Therapy is my main therapeutic approach. This school of therapy lets clients lead their session within a support structure created by the therapist. CBT and ACT are my extra toolkit for responding to crises and breaking unwanted habits.
This is an evidence-backed approach led by you, the client. You will not be talked down to or pushed to think a certain way. I will always respect your privacy and the pace you want to go.
You don’t need to prepare anything for our sessions, just show up as you are. ​
