Walk-and-Talk Counselling Sessions

Some people think better in motion. Walk-and-Talk means we can do sessions outdoors in Penrith, walking around the Nepean River walkways or through a local park. Being side-by-side takes the pressure off eye contact and the fresh air and natural light can really help with processing. 

How walk-and-talk therapy  works

It’s the same person-centred therapy I offer in the room, and there is no extra cost. If you book a Walk-and-Talk session, I will send some simple safety notes ahead of time. For these sessions, we meet at my office and agree on the route in advance. If the weather turns, we can always switch to back to indoors.


This mode of therapy is good for men who feel stuck or keyed-up or have feelings of wanting to ‘escape’ when talking about their problems. It is not suitable for crisis care.
